WET WORK partners with top manufacturers and craftsmen to deliver systems built for performance, access, and longevity. We collaborate seamlessly with architects, designers, and contractors during new construction or renovation, and work directly with clients on stand-alone installations. Every system is engineered for a breathtaking reveal and simplified long-term maintenance, giving you more time to enjoy the experience.

“There is no greater fortune than being able to do what one truly loves for a living. My work is my life. I have traveled to wonderful places, met and worked with wonderful people, and watched systems grow and develop along with my clients’ knowledge and enjoyment. This is the ultimate reward for what I do.”

BIOGRAPHY

Sam Slobusky’s journey began along the shimmering shallows of Biscayne Bay, where curiosity and saltwater shaped a lifelong devotion to marine life. From early dives in the untouched Bahamas to hand-built aquariums crafted with mentors who helped define the field, each chapter deepened his understanding of living systems.

Architecture studies, island years, and groundbreaking Reef Microcosm work in New Orleans refined both his technical eye and creative approach. In 2007, Sam founded WET WORK—an atelier for aquatic environments where science, design, and craftsmanship converge. Today, his passion remains unwavering: to create living systems that honor the beauty, complexity, and wonder of the sea.
